I seem to remember something about issues with WiFi and remembered networks. The solution was to go into the advanced tab and delete the remembered networks and then re-join.

don't know if that's your issue but it might be worth a try

You have my sympathy, friend. I have installed Monterey on an old 2009 iMac (24-inch). I added an SSD, to obtain the best outcome for the installation (via Open Core Legacy Patcher). However, though the WiFi and Internet works fine on another installation on this machine (it's on a spinning platter hard drive), I cannot get it to work in the installation I did on the SSD. I just cannot understand it, and it is driving me crazy, trying to fix it.
Does anyone have any other ideas, or actual experience of fixing it?

Thanks, Unclemiltie. I did manage to connect, some time after posting on this forum. The solution was to do exactly what you said, and which also solved Garyed055's problem.
