I have a mid 2010 i7 27in iMac that I haven’t used in a while. I want to use this as an external monitor in my office with my PS4. I have a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter that I used to connect the PS4 to the iMac but when pushing Comand+F2 I just get a “beep” sound from my iMac. Yes I made sure the keyboard was set to accept function keys as function keys as well. I unplugged the cords multiple times as well.

I also tried to download PS4 remote play but my MacOS is not supported. I am running MacOS Sierra. So apparently that’s not an option either.

Also, I did some research on these DisplayPort to HDMI adapters. Am I supposed to have a special type of adapter/converter? The adapter I have right now I bought a few years ago to hook up my receiver to my iMac.

Any help would be appreciated!
