I would like to see if Apple has updated the yellow tint problem.

Me too. Although I doubt it so soon. They probably bought hundreds of thousands of those panels and there just going to keep shipping them until there out. Hopefully when they reorder panels its from a different source or the source fixes the gradient.

Mine just arrived. It is a week 2 2010 Model.

Yellow Tinge Nightmare!

I mean, the top half of the screen looks gorgeous, but the bottom half.

Even if no one had EVER mentioned it, I would have saw this. No test was necessary. Browsing Mac Rumors, the bottom of the display just looks hideous.

It's almost as though not enough light is coming through the bottom.

I'll have to send it back.

I also just received my i7 this morning. It is a week 2 and I don't notice any problems with the display. However, I also haven't been looking for it, nor do I intend to.

Hard to believe as my week 2 arrived this morning too.

Just have this Macrumors from the top of your screen to the bottom. Look at top of display and then look at bottom. The bottom of mine looks murky/dirty/yellow.

I mean, it's so dramatic I didn't need any test to know it's there.

Thank goodness. I was dreading going through the rest of the day without 7 more yellow tinged iMac screen threads.

Mine has SLIGHT SLIGHT yellowing at bottom but its only noticeable if you really look for it and say HEY THATS KIND OF SORT OF IN A WAY A LITTLE BIT YELLOW!

So I'm happy =). No stuck pixels (my 24" had one) and this screen is great! Can't complain for only 300 dollars!

okay, for a very slight yellowing problem, and 300 dollars i wouldnt complain either...

but for 2200 dollars, any yellowing and its back to the store for sure.

I am totally in love with this screen! It is SO BRIGHT! At the lowest brightness setting even! Highest sears my eyes.
