Just installed the 8gb RAM kit in my mini and WOW everything is SO much faster!:D Literally took 2 minutes for the upgrade, bottom cover off, old ram out, new ram in, and cover back on. Couldn't have been easier!

Here is the kit I bought from OWC:

Absolutely no problems booting up or anything. So far very happy!

Tell me about it........if it was as easy as the ram I would've already put and SSD in there.

Just waiting till someone (NOT ME) installs ssd(s) in the 10 mini server and videos it. <hint> So I can copy them.

owc has had mid 2010 mac mini install video on standby for more then 5 months. I did over 100 installs of hdds on older mini's the new mini is a lot harder I do not like the loose flimsy cable used in this machine.

If anyone's looking to get an SSD installed, it's worth calling up your local independent Mac service shop if you have one nearby. They usually charge a reasonable amount to install it (my place quoted me $60).

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8B117 Safari/6531.22.7)

What does standby mean to me? I've looked for it on their site and just says coming soon. Hah, I don't even have my mini yet, be here on the 4th. Memory should be a no brainer and owc has good prices.

My next upgrade will be taking out the DVD drive and replacing it with a ssd. Just wish I could fit a 2tb hard drive in it.

Wow, please take some pics through the process and post them when you do this!
