2010 Mac Mini & Lion

Does anyone have this combination at all, does it run well enough? Looking into a Mac mini but would like to know if lion runs smooth and perfect on it. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not running it on a mini, but I am running it on a 2.53 C2D MBP and it's very snappy. Even more so than SL. I am sure it's fine on the 10 minis.

How much RAM do you have?

I have 4 gb of RAM in my 2010 mini and it runs fine. Startup times are slower, but I'm sure that will improve with future OS updates.

I'm running Lion Server on a 2010 mini server with 8 GB ram. It's not what i would call smooth. I don't know if it's lion being rather new or if i should just do a clean reinstall.

I'll do a reinstall once I get my new i7 mini. hopefully that will fix the problem.

Yeah I'm running a clean install of Lion on my 2010 Mac Mini Server. Running very smooth, no issues at all so far. Had it running with the standard 4GB RAM and it was fine, but just upgraded to 8GB and it's all good!

Thanks for the comments. I don't have one yet but was thinking of buying an older model. So I guess I'll shop around for a 4gb ram mini or higher. Thanks.
