2010 Mac Pro Quad temperatures

Just curious as to what other people are seeing for temps in their 2010 Mac Pros.

Coming from a 2006, this machine is 10x cooler. I'm not running any SMC fan control anymore....everything is stock.

Are most other people's Northbridge hotter than anything else?

My Temps are:

CPU: 88 F (31 C)
Ambeint: 81 F (27 C)
Mem Bank A2: 88 F (31 C)
Mem Bank A3: 86 F (30 C)
Mem Bank A4: 94 F (34 C)
Mem Bank A5: 94 F (34 C)
Northbridge: 121 F (49 C)
PS1: 90 F (32 C)
PS2: 95 F (35 C)

I cannot see your pictures, however here are the temperatures from my 2010 2.4 8-core Westmere using iStat (in Celsius):

HD Macintosh: 90
CPU A: 90
CPU B: 81
Ambient: 79
HD Bay 2-4: 80
Mem Bank A2: 88

You sure those are in Celsius?

I hope those are in Fahrenheit, not Celsius. Do you live on Mercury or something?

In my 2009 Nehalem Mac Pro, the Northbridge does tend to run a bit toasty. 74C right now more or less at idle.

My 2009 quad is the same. While rendering the cpu goes up to 60+ C. Using SMC fan control keeps it bellow 50 C.

Looks like my temps are normal.

It sure helps not having those honking big FB-DIMMS in there like the 2006-2008 models!
