Sup people,
Im ordering some RAM (2x4GB) for my 2.8 quad 2010 Mac Pro and the cheapest deal I can find is this one http://www.amazon.de/AP_ECC1066D3_4...Q9SC/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1326736739&sr=8-7
I was wondering about the heatsink things that are on them. I know that the RAM will work but what difference does that metal thing make? Do these sticks have the "heatsinks" because it says they are for servers, as in the RAM will be stressed more and therefore needs more cooling?
Should I stay away from these modules if possible?
Cheers
