2010 mini won't power up

I have a 2010 mini that I bought used. I've had it for about 6 months, and am having some power issues. I use it mostly to stream iTunes content to an ATV, along with multiple airport express'. It is also used in the ripping and encoding process of DVD's. This morning I tried to listen to some streamed music and noticed it was off. It wouldn't power up, so I just unplugged the power cord and swapped it with a Time Capsule, and things seemed to power up. The small little light on the front turned on, (TC powered up just fine too) but I can't get the monitor to respond. I use apple wireless keyboard and trackpad for input, but nothing seems to work, I just get a blank screen. The mini also, despite the light being on, just seems a bit dead like nothing is going on. Any suggestions or ideas as to what may be going on. It seemed to have turned off once before but after powering on it worked just fine.

so looked at it again, and the chime goes off when I turn it on, just no response on the monitor.

So it looks to be a display output issue as I can actually pull up content on the ATV to be viewed.
