2010 MP Yosemite slowness

Does anyone have a general slowness after Yosemite upgrade? I have a GTX780 3GB, with 8 Core 2.4Ghz, 28GB RAM with SSD.

No in fact it seems a bit snappier.

I have a software RAID 1 on this machine, how can i reinstall the OS and retain the raid?

Safari is snappier

Before the final release of Yosemite, I was on the verge of switching to Firefox. Safari 8.0 put in end to that notion. It's far snapper than earlier versions.

Since 64 bit chrome 39 came out i think it has safari beat. Especially with ad block plus installed
