Got a kick out of this and just had to share.
I just bought a 13" 2011 MBA, and before I left the store, the blue-shirted kid selling me the computer said that I would need to purchase a Lion upgrade since the new MBA's didn't come with Lion. (of course it did come with it)
If you worked at the store and sold these things all day long, wouldn't you try to take time to familiarize yourself with the products? I mean, there were probably 20 or so people buying MBA's in there when I was there, so you know this blue-shirt had to have sold a couple since Wednesday. Also, all demo units were running Lion, but he told me that the computers on display were also not on Lion, and still had to be upgraded.
They all had Lion installed, and yes, my MBA had it as well. It just never ceases to amaze me how little some of the salespeople in retail outlets know (or don't know) about their products.
