My 2009 i7 iMac died (GPU and screen) so I picked up a second hand mid 2011 i5 iMac.
I'm going to take the 1GB SSD from my old iMac and put it in the 2011 model and I'll get it running at 6gb/s instead of 3gb/s in the old one.

However, the 2011 iMac has only 4x2GB 1333MHz so I'd like to upgrade the RAM.
I understand that 1600MHz will work but run at 1333MHz so only worth it if cheaper, the thing is, I have 4x4GB 1066MHz from the old machine.
Do I spend CHF/USD 140 to buy 2x8GB 1333MHz to have a total of 20GB 1333Hz RAM or use the old RAM???

Thanks for your advice.
