I have a 2011 MBP that has the failing discreet video card. Instead of doing the patch work to make it work with macOS. I installed windows 10. I downloaded what I believe is the latest boot camp drivers. However when I tried to install the boot camp executable it pop a message that this version on boot camp is not supported on this model.

My question can anyone point to where I can get the correct boot camp drivers for this MBP.

what i downloaded is BootCamp5.1.5780 but it did not work.

Thanks

I was hoping to get the sound and keyboard functions to work. I know with the correct boot camp drivers it would work.

unfortunately i have to disable the dgpu as it started to fail in windows.

Thank you for the help.

With Bootcamp, if I'm not mistaken, you can't pick and choose which drivers to install.

I manage to to get a boot camp copy made for a 2012 MBP and for the most part all of the drivers worked. However I made the mistake of doing a update using the apple software and in fact download the correct AMD drivers for the DPGU but in doing so. laptop started to reboot because when it tried to use the DGPU it would crash.

thanks again for the help.
