Hi All,

Just want to throw this out there. Got my 2011 iMac 27" SSD last night, and it crashed every 3 minutes. Quickly looked up online for a solution, and here is what I did. Do a PRAM reset and install the latest updates. You do a PRAM reset by

1. turning off your imac
2. turn on your imac
3. press and hold command-option-P-R (all 4 keys) before the gray screen comes up.
4. The computer will restart and give you a bong sound a second time.
5. Install the latest software updates after restart.

No problem ever since. Was worried I had to send this back.

Still, you shouldn't have to do that on a brand new machine.

It's the 27" SSD iMac that was delayed forever. It was just shipped directly from China last week. I am not worried that it's a refurb. I did a extended AHT and there was no issue.
