Ok i got a iMac 27inch 2011 with a dead gpu from a yard sale for $50. I just bought a $15 quadro k1000m and I was wondering if it would work. Or do I have to buy a mxm to pcie card and flash the vbios in my pc, because the vbios part is the confusing bit here
Without the apple boot screen it would just straight boot to macOS but what if the previous owner had erased macOS and everything off the hdd already? What do I do then because I can’t boot to usb without a efi boot screen
