Have a 2011 Mac Pro, it randomly restarted and won't boot. The apple chime will sound and then in a few seconds it will do it again repeatedly, I have tried going in to recovery mode and resting the PRAM but it just keeps chiming every 10-15 seconds, and will not enter those modes. I also tried removing and reinserting the PRAM battery to try and reset the motherboard settings, this didn't work either.
It does not show the apple logo, nothing appears on the screen. I am not sure where to go from here. I put the boot drive in another computer and was able access the drive, so that did not crash. Even with just the slave drives in the computer, trying to boot just has the same problem, it doesn't even try to go into recovery mode or search for a boot drive it just keeps chiming. I have also tried removing the ram, at that point, the power just blinks and nothing else happens; once I put the ram back in this still occurs. Any suggestions, I have been googling and not come up with anything that works.
