2011 MacBook Pro graphics card sufficient?

Hi guys,

There's a game I'm wanting to play on my 2011 MacBook Pro 13 (2.7 GHz) with the following minimum video requirements:

NVIDIA GeForce 8800/ATI Radeon HD 3850 or higher with 512 MB RAM

I'm not sure how the Intel HD Graphics 3000 card compares to these models. Will it run okay?

sorry. NO. you don't even have dedicated graphic card. intel HD 3000 is shared. so weak. if you don't play games, then fine. that graphic card you described is desktop version. unfortunately, imac doesn't have desktop version of graphic card, and processor chip as well. if you want to play any game with high setting, you must have NVIDIA GT 540M for laptop (1GB dedicated memory) or AMD 5650M (512MB). they are still not powerful than NVIDIA 8800GT. but at least you don't have to worry about it. well, you already bought 13inch macbook pro. now nothing you can do about it. one more, I don't recommend mac for gaming. it's too much cost and less powerful Apple never put high end graphic card for macs in history. they are all midrange. by the way, 15inch, 17inch macbook pro has AMD 6750M (1GB). this is decent one, and almost closed to NVIDIA 8800GT desktop version.

its possible you'll be able to get it to run, maybe playable... even if it runs poorly, but there is no way anyone here can know for sure, since we don't even know what game you are talking about.
