My processor is definitely good enough, but I've been told that the integrated graphics in the 2011 MBP isn't as good as the discrete graphics card in the last generation. I was wondering if my computer will be able to handle Oblivion with the integrated graphics card and more importantly...speculations on it being able to run Skyrim?

You'll be able to run Oblivion fine. It's been out for a while and I can run it on my 2007 MB.

Skyrim might not run so well though. The system requirements aren't out yet, but you might just squeak by with minimum settings. It's hard to tell right now, you may be able to go with some medium-ish graphics.

There are Cider wrappers out there you can use to run Oblivion in OSX that run it really good. It runs with Wineskin as well, but with a lower frame rate than Cider runs it... so you don't really even need Windows for it.
