Hello Guys,
I bought my MBP around 3 weeks ago.
Specs:
15''
2.2 Ghz i7
4GB 1333 MHz DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB
750gb hd
aka the "big" one.
In the last week it has become really slow compared to earlier. (i installed Lion the day it arraived and worked fine until like a week ago).
Rebooting has went from like 10-20 seconds to 3-4 mins and it constantly shows the "spinning corsur" even tho im just sitting in Chrome/safari etc.
I have done following to get rid of the slowness:
- Rebooted (obv)
- Removed everything from my desktop
- Cleaned out my "startup programs"
- Virus scanned
- Repaired under Disk utilities
- Checked space on HDD (got over 500gb left)
This is not cause i have gotten more programs and filled the PC up with crap. This basically happend from day to day.
My booting to Windows via bootcamp also gotten ALOT slower.
Anyone got any suggressions on how to solve the problems on my brand new Mac beeing Slow both under boot/start and while doing stuff on it.
PS. The "slowness" is not wearing off after some time!
Best regards - Ricky
