2011 Mini i5 2.3 Apps crashing

Ok, so I have been using apps that work in Lion, but I noticed Lion seems a little buggy, so has anyone received a new Mini only to reformat and reload Lion, because the fact that Hand Brake keeps crashing on me is truly annoying, and sometimes other apps like MS Office 2008 locks up and I actually have to hit the power buttom?

Thinking of reloading a fresh copy of Lion tonight, I might even swap out the HDD just to make sure it is not that?

500GB Hybrid SSD. maybe that's what's causing the problems?

i've had all the problem you described here before when i messed around with different HDDs, SSDs, Trim enabling, drivers and whatnot. make sure that you have the right RAM and that you have the latest drivers for your hard drive.

and also make sure that your hard drive is actually fully compatible with lion.
