2011 mini memory upgrade question

Hi, I have a july 2011 Mini, very pleased with it, I know one can upgrade the memory, it is base with 2gb. I see a few different brands out there, are there any differences, and at the apple website their memory is about double in price. any input is appreciated, thanks.

go for Crucial or Samsung DDR3 probably 1333MHz. im not sure whether it will be ok with 16GB, if you don't need that much memory, just get 2x4GB they are pretty good price on amazon(especially if u in US).
