Hello all!!
I recently upgraded my 2011 MPB 2.2 i7, 16gb ram, 500gb SSD and installed Monterey with OCLP. I did it the first time and didn't do a fresh install and it was really slow. I redid it with a clean install and it didn't change anything. I followed Mr. Macintosh's instructions but my MBP just isn't holding up. I understand my machine is 12 years old but I expected this to run a tad smoother considering all the the great reviews. Does anyone have any input or insight? I'm not expecting a miracle, just thought it would be a tad faster considering the upgraded ram and SSD. Thanks to everyone for at least reading my post and possibly responding.
