2012/2011 MBP 13" Purchase Dilemma

I'm new in here and looking for opinions/guidance.

Have an offer for 2012 MBP 13' (non-retina) and 2011 MBP 13'. Both seem to be working fine without any repair history. But I have had the MBP 15' 2011 and MBP 15' 2012 which suffered from the dreaded GPU/LogicBoard issues and I'm a bit wary of making this purchase. I have also read that the 13" MBPs don't carry the same GPU issues but I'm not absolutely sure about that. So would really appreciate any help on this. I have to carry on my college and webmaster works and will be using the purchased MBP for this purpose.

The 13” models don’t have a discrete GPU so cannot have the issue. The integrated GPU is the only on on those models.

So, the 2012 1" MBP won't have Logicboard/GPU failures?

Neither will have the problem. Something else to consider is that the 2011 is stuck on High Sierra while the 2012 can run Catalina.
