my 2012 21.5iMac recently started having a lot of very annoying issues.

Like the most frustrating problem is that sometimes the iMac won't wake up. I press some keys on the keyboard, click the mouse, even press the physical button and it won't wake up until 30 to 40 sec. I know it doesn't seem like a long time but it's very annoying especially when I want to check something quickly

Also the keyboard keeps disconnecting. I'll be using it normally and then after a period of maybe 2-3min of not touching, it disconnects! It always reconnects shortly after...but still frustrating. I change the battery at least 3 times and the problem continues.

It has also started to become veryyyyy slow when open apps. I know it's an Hard drive but it now takes more than 30 seconds to open safari

I completely reset the iMac and reinstalled macOS last week and nothing as really changed..

I'm planning on buying a new as soon but I still want the computer to be ok when I give it/sell it to some one...

Is there something else I could do to fix it? Could buying an external SSD help?
