Will displayport be able to handle 3440x1440 60hz? Will 2014 mini be able to do this?

Guess it's time to build a hackintosh. Not cool apple provides no solutions for modern equipment. I take my MBP with me everywhere, i'd rather not dock it, and they don't offer desktops anymore...

My apologies, I misread your question and I was thinking of the 2012 Mac Mini. I don't know about the 2014.

No no, thank you for the answer. I was thinking about upgrading to 2014 but if it's no better, what is the point ya know?

If i could get 50hz i think i'd be happy. All i do is code, play on the web, and remote to work(where i only get about 30fps anyway). I don't watch movies or play games, I ordered a mini displayport cable to see.
