Nice. I am waiting for my server 2012 mini (2.3) with 2 1TB drives in it. No idea what the configuration of them will be, but I am tempted replacing them with my own SSDs if that is easy.

yes very easy thanks to ifixit

it took me 15 minutes to replace the stock HDDs by SSDs :)

i received exactly the same configuration

Did you set up the RAID 0 first and then install OS X or add the RAID to an existing installation. I'm not sure how that works. Will Internet recovery work on RAID 0 drives?

- removed stock HDD
- installed SSD
- booted Yosemite install from a thumb drive
- launched disk utility just before Yosemite installation and configured the RAID 0
- installed Yosemite
- installed Trim Enable

internet recovery does not support RAID drives, so hopefully i have Yosemite on a thumb drive and an external HDD too
