what's the best way to convert 2012 Mac Mini i7Q Server to Mavericks/Yosemity workstation using new SSD as main drive.

Same time is it possible to save image from 2012 Mac Mini 2.3Ghz i7Q Server model and use it on non-server 2012 2.6Ghz i7Q model later on...
or is the MM Server license tied to serial#/mac address?

P.S. reading the post from rvs007 - is that best answer to my second question?

Just don't install the Server application. There's no difference in the operating system otherwise. As long as you've redeemed the server application in the App Store app, you'll be able to download it again in the future.

There's no need to save the image. As I said above, the only thing that distinguishes a "Server" from workstation-level is the Server.app itself.
