2013 circa Macbook Pro Will Not Go

I have a circa 2013 Macbook Pro that I have been using as a server on my home network. I moved and it sat without running for a year (and a little). Now it will not boot, nothing happens when it is turned on. I replaced the battery (it was bad before the long sleep) and that did not help. Any suggestions on what I might do to get this old machine running. When the laptop is plugged in and the on button is pushed, nothing happens.
