I recently updated my camera to a Fuji XT2 and did take some video on it, which I believe is 4K. When processing the short clip, it was maybe 15 seconds I noticed my 2013 IMac didn't handle it well. The playback seemed jumpy and had a difficult time playing it. I believe my IMac is an I7 chip and 16g of ram.
Should this IMac be able to handle these files/video's I will be recording or am I expecting too much from my desktop? I am considering purchasing a new one but since the IMac hasn't been updated recently nor is the Mac Pro been updated, I am hesitant.
