Just got the box yesterday. Here are the results of my first round of tests.

I downloaded and ran SPECviewperf12 test (huge file for a test) and used these settings:

And received these results:

Which I also used in a reply to wheelhot, who began this thread the other day:

Please run the Unigine tests in OpenGL on Windows.
With both single D700, and dual.

Here you go.

Thank you.
I'm impressed that the OSX Valley one in OpenGL is essentially twice that of windows single D700, and matches the dual D700's.
Heaven is better as well with that 1FPS.

It seems OpenGL in Mavericks has caught up, now it's just down to Developers to move away from legacy OpenGL, and embrace coreOpenGL, and higher.

We just need AMD to step up their game with OpenGL drivers as well, they're eel behind NVIDIA at this time. I hope Apple can help push them with that.

OpenGL is OpenGL, Core OpenGL is just another layer written by Apple for OSX to help communicate with OpenGL isn't it?

No, core is 3.2 and higher. Preferably 4.0+

The rest is legacy, anything under 3.2. That's where the horrible performance is, and where they need to move away from. It's like comparing DirectX 8-9(legacy) and 10-11(core essentially in simple terms.)

AMD does not even conform to the Khronos group's standard in OpenGL support yet, they need to get into gear.
