Hi all,
I recently purchased a Sintech adapter for my 2013 MacBook Pro (MacBookPro11,1) to upgrade the storage from 128GB to 256GB so I am able to dual-boot Windows 10 and macOS. I followed the guide on MacRumors for this, so macOS works flawlessly with power management and TRIM on the drive. However, on Windows I get a large amount of issues with this drive, it is an Acer OEM drive, with the model name: KINGSTON RBUSNS8154P3256GJ1. In Windows, it wouldn't boot originally until I set a registry key, ChildCompletion to 3, however after installing the Bootcamp drivers, and unplugging the charger for the first time, it immediately froze and blue screened with the WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR stop code, also in the battery menu in the taskbar, there are no power settings, and battery saver is greyed out it only shows the percent. Safe mode works however and so does uninstalling the battery in device manager and then unplugging but only downside to that is I can't see my percentage. Is there any known way of fixing this on non-Apple SSDs, other than just keeping the MacBook connected to a charger?
Thanks
