Finally, all those with the OG Moto X can rejoice in knowing that the Lollipop update is finally coming your way. Unfortunately, the update is for 5.0.2 and not 5.1, which is much, much better, but hey, beggars can't be choosers.
I would expect 5.1 to come along shortly now that the hardware to software bugs in 5.0 are worked out, but have a feeling 5.1 may be the end for the OG Moto X.
Anyway, starting Monday next week, the OTA will start rolling out. First to those with non-carrier branded Moto X's like the 1053 and then on to the carriers.
