I've used Astropad Pro for a while with a 2014 27" iMac. Its performance has been fine, but I think the $12/month subscription is a bit of a price gouge. I was excited about Sidecar and recently updated to iPad OS 13 and Catalina beta to realize my iMac is not supported. I've found the work around, but before I get crazy disabling SIP and altering the OS I was going to see how the Sidecar performance is with my machine. Anyone currently running sidecar with this era of iMac? How does it compare to Astropad? If I do this hack is it going to be something that has to be re-patched after every update? Can SIP be re-enabled after patching? After the recent Chrome update garbage, I'm thinking SIP is a really good thing to have enabled full-time.

Thanks!

Did it work for you? I'm thinking of running the patch on my late 2013 iMac as well.
