I have my mac mini on a Vizio M60-c3 TV and using the switchresx app to give me the screen at 720p HiDPI which works amazingly well. The one thing I wanted to know is if there is anyway to have the resolution change when watching video content? I can use the Amazon app on the TV but then can't get the audio to my sound system. With the mac mini it runs into my receiver which then goes to the TV.

I just put the new TV in today and wanted to watch some 4k netflix but can't seem to get the video to play at UHD. Is there some way that when I go full screen I can get the resolution to go to the highest available?
