Hi guys,

I have a 2014 Macbook pro which has had its screen replaced. The brightness controls have now stopped working after I reinstalled MacOS from El Capitan too Mojave. I know there is a way to fix this by replacing the screen firmware chip to the correct one, suppose to be the E1 chip.

This forum post goes over the issue. Trouble is he has pointed out the firmware chip on a 15inch mbp. so I was wondering where it is located on the 13in model?

thanks for the help
