I've decided to replace my 2011 MBA with a Mini, and wanted to confirm if there's any issue with the Mini working with my 24" ACD (which I love). Right now, I have my MBA connected to a Thunderbolt external drive, which is then connected to my ACD, and it works great. Any reason why this shouldn't also work with a 2014 Mini?

I'm trying to choose between a fully loaded 2014 Mini (512GB SSD, 16GB RAM, maybe even the i7/3.0 processor) versus a more mid-level machine (2.6GHz, 256GB SSD, 16GB RAM). It's about a 40% increase in price for the 2.8GHz processor and the extra 256GB in SSD storage; it's too bad that the 512GB SSD option isn't available on the mid-level machine.

Thanks for your comments.

I use a 24" ACD with a 2014 Mac Mini mid , no problem (with the display port cable from the ACD)

Great to hear; thank you! The native resolution of the 24" ACD really helps my "older" eyes, so I'd to keep using it.
