2015 iMac 27" and NAS with iTunes?

I just picked up a new Late 2015 iMac 27". I had a 2009 Model previously.

I've got a 6TB NAS that is plugged directly into my Apple Airport Extreme router. I've got about 140gb of music files that I've been loading into iTunes and its been taking so far about 48 hours to load and its still not finished.

Is my WD MyBookLive just old and slow or what? I've had the WD Nas for quite a few years without any issues. I just wasn't sure if there was something faster I could use.

Comments/Ideas?
