Hello. I've got an external 4TB hard drive that uses a thunderbolt connection, but I also would like to connect a monitor (via thunderbolt/mini-displayport). Problem is, it only has 1 Mini-Displayport/Thunderbolt port.

Are there any workarounds? Could I use some kind of USB-3 to HDMI adapter?

Thanks!

I have an OWC thunderbolt 2 dock that connects to the Air TB port. I run a big monitor off that and have plenty of USB ports to use.. I think it will support the TB drive as well.. search web for it for specs..
