This happened after the last Monterey update. It's happened at our house in MA and in NH.

WiFi works for about 10-115 minutes and then goes out and my attempts to use any routers in the area fails and I have to reboot.

I'm downloading Mojave on another system and will install that and see if the problem goes away. I may give Big Sur a try as well. I've tested with 4 different routers so I'm guessing that this is a Monterey problem. I'm fine running Mojave or Big Sur on this laptop as it's my backup and I'm thinking of replacing it with an Air 15.

I tried to create a flash installer to downgrade and then realized that all of my current machines are running Monterey or Ventura. I tried Recovery Mode but that only offered Monterey. I looked at Monterey and then found that there's a newer update July 24 so I'm going to give that a try.

I thought of borrowing one of my son's older laptops (he's running Mojave on two of them I think) but then I remembered that my 2010 iMac is running High Sierra so I can extract the app file from a High Sierra kit on that systems and then copy it to my 2015 iMac to create the flash installer. It may be possible to do that with Mojave and Big Sur as well - the latter would save me having to downgrade to High Sierra and then upgrade to Mojave or Big Sur. I'm hoping that the latest update fixes the WiFi issue.

The upgrade fixed the problem. I was able to connect to WiFi modems which I wasn't able to do before. This should probably be moved to the Monterey forum
