Hi All, I have been the proud owner of a flawless 2016 13inch MBP with TB (512/8/i5 2.9) for the last 2 weeks, based in Malaysia. (No apple walk in stores, just resellers).

However yesterday evening, I noticed a mark on the display smack in the middle - I thought it was on the screen so tried to wipe it off only to discover its behind the LCD display - looks almost like something behind the LCD and the backlight dispersant panels (you know the ones that move slightly left to right if MacBook is shaken). The mark moves left and right by about 1-2mm if shaken (which corresponds to the feel of the loose dispersant panels most MacBooks have).

Any suggestions? The authorized resellers only do a 1 to 1 swap or refund in the first 7 days, so looks like I'm stuck with dealing with the abysmal authorized service center service here (Historically it has always taken 2-3 weeks for diagnosis, followed by 2-4 weeks for repair) :S

Any advise would be welcome - have a follow up call with apple care scheduled Monday after highlighting the issue too them. Pics attached. (Looks worse in the flesh and smack neat the middle of the screen)

In some places Apple will send a replacement first, then you send yours back. That's worth asking about.
