Hey all! So i got this macbook here and i'm wanting to upgrade to a reliable compatible 1TB SSD into this 15 inch 2016-17 space grey touch bar macbook pro. Any tips or help is. appreciated to all please help me!

another vote for OWC, although i am using a 256GB Fledging ssd drive that did speed up and ran Mojave on my MacBook air for lot less than OWC.

The SSD in these models is not upgradable. The chips are soldered to the main board.

Only the 2016 non Touch Bar entry level model is upgradeable. The OP mentioned his was the Touch Bar model, so you are correct. Thanks for the correction.
All the 15" models after 2015 had the Touch Bar and soldered storage. It was just the 13" 2-port MacBook Pro in 2016 and 17 which had no Touch Bar and had modular storage.
