Other people have tried it but this is the first time I have seen all the information in a video:

Hopefully the whole experience becomes smoother in the near future, but it's looking good.

I have added that to the list. I didn't include it originally because it is very uncertain whether there will be open support from Apple for eGPUs and when that would happen. Personally, I wouldn't wait but that's because I do need the extra power for appplications and games.
