I have a 11 day old MBP running the latest version of Sierra.
The problem i'm having is that when i shut down my machine. The shut down times out because google chrome fails to quit
I can only then quit chrome by manually force quitting.
I have tried the following to remedy.
Reinstallation of Chrome
Reset all chrome settings
Deleted all Cached Library files on computer
Deleted all Library chrome files from computer
Reinstallation of the OS
Created a new user profile to check if the issue persists (it does)
Retested in safe mode same again
usual cmd alt P & R on reset
I have spent 2 hours on the phone speaking to apple care and they are stumped too and it is now with their tech department and i now need to wait up to 4 business days for a response. The issue i have with that is that my 14 day remorse period would have ended by then.
Has anyone had any experience with this can shed some light? any help would be much appreciated.
