I bought this machine off ebay with the issue described in the title thinking it was a flexgate issue but this seems to be different. The display was not recognized at all in macOS under the integrated graphics and the machine will show all of its EFI/output to an external display connected to the dGPU instead. I opened the machine and examined the display connectors and they are perfectly intact with no signs of cable cracking/wear. The lid close sensor, webcam, and microphone do work. I tried resetting the PRAM a few times and I was able to momentarily see the internal display's backlight turn on for a few seconds but with no actual output before going off again. I have booted into a linux distro with the rEFInd tweaks to enable the iGPU on other OS's. The Laptop's internal display is recognized but with the wrong resolutions and nothing happens when trying to apply one. I tried to manually set the resolution with xrandr but get the following error.
[cr@cr-macbookpro143 ~]$ xrandr --output eDP --mode 640x480 --verbose
screen 0: 1920x1080 508x286 mm 95.92dpi

I'm wondering if it's a logic board issue but I cant say for sure. Any advice/help is appreciated.
