Hello all,

I ve read that Apple uses a proprietary connector on the HDD in the 2017 21.5" iMac, and I just bought the Samsung EVO 2TB SSD...I know it's not for the beginner replacing the drive in these things, but is an adapter required to connect the new SATA SSD, if so, where can I find one?...part number, etc......any help will be appreciated!

thanks in advance,

The HDD in a 2017 21.5" iMac is a standard SATA drive. https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/iMac+I...K+Display+(2017)+Hard+Drive+Replacement/92700
