I wanted to post this here so people know ahead of time what happened & what to expect. When my iMac arrived on Friday, I set it up & noticed significant image ghosting (retention) on the screen. I've read about this but this was my first experience.
The good news:
This is only temporary. It is now Sunday evening & the iMac stopped producing ghost images & all the previous images are now gone. Apparently the LCD screen just needed a break in period so do not despair if you see it. Have a great night!
