2017 Macbook Pro 15-inch with LG 5K or iMac 5k

I have a 2014 iMac 5k but thinking of getting a high-end MacBook Pro 15-Inch (touchbar) with LG 5K, I want to sale the 2014 iMac 5K, Do you think it's a good idea or should i just keep the 5k iMac

Is there a particular reason you want to make this switch? Do you need to work remotely or are you at a desk most of the time?

If this is elective, that's a heavy price to pay for something that isn't really necessary. If you need to be mobile, then I think that switch would make for a great setup.

I'd keep the 5K iMac. Those machines are awesome.

Switch if you need laptop, keep if not.

Do you need a portable computer? If yes, buy the MBP. If not, keep the iMac.
