Hello I have a 2017 MacBook Pro and everytime I attempt to update to Catalina the software update mechanism says that 10.14.6 is the most up to do release for my MacBook Pro. I've for some work arounds but I haven't been able to get this issue resolved. Can anyone help me out here.

Thank you

I had a similar issue and was able to resolve by booting in safe mode and using the link Catalina from the Mac app store.
