What do you think the prices of the three new iPhone's tomorrow will be? Heres my prediction:

iPhone XC (6.1") -
  • 64GB - $699
  • 256GB - $849

iPhone XS (5.8") -
  • 64GB - $899
  • 256GB - $1049
  • 512GB - $1149 or $1199

iPhone XS Plus or "max" (6.5") -
  • 64GB - $999
  • 256GB - $1149
  • 512 GB - $1249 or $1299

I think they’re the same as my guesses. The downside is mine are all in £ with a 1:1 exchange rate :(

Joking aside the XC at the same price as the 8 is going to be interesting. Is that how Apple will do it, so they can make a point it’s the same, or add 50 dollars because it’s totally different to the iPhone 8 and people will buy it anyway?

I’m guessing an XC would cost more to make due to the bigger screen than an 8, so holding the price would reduce their gross profit which is something analysts and shareholders follow.

Can anyone explain the logic to me of getting a 5.8 XS for $200 more than the comparable 6.1 XC? Yes I know about the dual cameras on the XS but how many people will actually care?

If Apple wasn’t releasing the XS Plus/Max this year I’d seriously think about getting a 256GB XC and saving myself a LOT of money (£500-700)

But you’re not factoring that the 5.8 X will have wireless charging, an OLED display, True Tone, The 6.1 LCD iPhone is rumored_not_ to have 3D Touch, and the most marketed feature for the iPhone, is the camera, so yes, consumers do care about that.

Also, in retrospect, we don’t know what the 6.1 LCD iPhone won’t have yet in comparison to the 5.8 X until the keynote.

I could not give up my dual cameras at this point nor could I go to a worse screen resolution. The XS is a much more premium device that imo is worth the extra 200 dollars.

Smaller, but better looking screen for starters. Rumors are the Xr/Xc will have aluminum instead of stainless steel, so the feel in the hands will be different. People hear that their phones have better tech in it, even though they may not know the tech differences.
