Hello - After doing research that third-party repair shops "can" replace iPhone batteries I was wondering if I bring my iPhone into an Apple store and they replace it "in shop" will this still result in a protected phone meaning the sealant etc will be the same?

I've heard of some shops replace batteries and screens but the water resistant factor wasn't the same afterwards so if Apple does this better I'd rather go through them.

Any experience, input, etc?

Thank you

Apple will replace the seal.. Whether or not it’s water resistance will be restored is hard to say because they don’t test the phone so you won’t know until the phone gets wet.

Some third party repair shops do, some don't... you should ask. But Apple always does.
