I have a Dell Ultrawide u3417w. I recently bought a 2018 Macbook Pro and the fonts display considerably different than the 2016 Macbook Pro with the same software. Both laptops are running OSX 10.13.6. Fonts on the 2018 Macbook Pro have an orange/yellow hue around the fonts. Almost like a strange chromatic aberration. Please see images below.
